Powerful1.4 kilowatt (2 horsepower) starter motors produce greater torque and higher speed than the OE .8 kilowatt starter.
Great for high compression (up to 15:1) engines.
Compact design of body measures 4 7/8" in length (the OE prestolite body measures 6" and the Hitachi body measures 5 1/8" long).
The mounting end is CNC machined from billet aluminum for maximum strength and does not require a tail support like the OE starter.
Includes concealed mounting bolts and instructions.
For maximum power to the starter motor we recommend using our ultra-flexible battery cables and a 300 cold cranking amp battery found in the electric section.
