The AmeriCam MotorhomeView Platinum Package is a high performance, fully automatic and practical driver assistance device. The primary objective is very simple: to help a driver to see things that they may not otherwise see. The Platinum Package helps to solve these problems with two cameras:

The first camera is at the front of the vehicle to assist you with parking and checking for obstacles that are below your line of sight. Simply press the Control Switch at any time and the monitor will display the front camera for a full 20 seconds allowing you to maneuver your motor home safely.

The second camera is mounted at the top rear of the vehicle providing an elevated panoramic view of exactly what is behind you. The Control Switch allows you to choose to display when in reverse only, or always on for improved driving visibility.

Designed in Silicon Valley, California, all AmeriCam products are engineered to the highest standards. The C3 and C4 cameras that are included in the Platinum Package are rated at IP68 which means they are impervious to dust and water. The kit contains Silver Lacquer MicroBlock(tm) cameras which can be mounted in one of several ways with or without the included purpose designed brackets.

A single connection is made to the reversing light circuit and ground either in the cabin or towards the back of the vehicle depending on which location is the easiest to access. A single 3/16" connector is then fed through the vehicle from the back to the front to connect the camera, control box and the 7" monitor. No other connections or work is involved. When the vehicle is put into reverse gear, a sharp and vivid image is instantly displayed on the screen. With our patented cable technology, most customers complete the entire installation in less than one hour. No other system in the market is as quick and easy to install.
