Coils

Designed for dual fire applications with single or dual spark plug heads.
Designed with built-in mechanical spark advance unit.
Using Mallory's time tested breakerless ignition circuit, combined with modern surface mount Thermal-Clad construction, the kit can drive any ignition coil or combination of ignition coils with a total primary resistance of at least 2.0 OHMs.
We recommend ignition coils with 2.3-3.0 OHMs for racing applications and ignition coils with 3.0-4.0 OHMs for street and highway use.
Incorporates an infrared light beam and an optical interrupter to trigger the ignition.

This type of trigger is extremely accurate and much more effective than hall effect type ignitions. Use with spiral core or carbon core suppression type spark plug wires. Billet alluminum ignition can easily be installed without removing the front cylinder head. Installation insructions are included.
