LINDY Bike Badge, by the Shelby Cycle Co. These badges came out after Charles Lindbergh made the 1st non stop solo flight across the Atlantic Ocean in May of 1927 in his "Spirit of St. Louis" Airplane. This style of LINDY Badge was used from September of 1927 through 1930. It is the largest of the 5 dirrerent Lindy Bike Badges. Nostalgic Reflections has all 5 different LINDY Bike Badges that were used. Check our other listings. This bike badge was acid etched in brass and color enamel back filled. It measures 3 1/4 inches from top to bottom. This LINDY Bike Badge is "ONE" of only "11" that were custom made by Nostalgic Reflections of Veradale, Washington who makes custom "one off" parts for their customers who own and restore antique vehicles; cars, trucks, airplanes, motorcycles, birycles, boats, tractors & snowmobiles.
