This custom high flow downpipe replaces the stock restrictive pipe with a larger diameter and smoother flowing pipe. It also replaces the stock flex-section of the exhaust that wears out over time and causes leaks. The downpipe 3SX pipe is a 2-piece pipe and includes the clamp to secure the front and back pieces together. It connects to the small "pre-cats" that are just after the manifolds and then to the main catalytic converter. The pipes from the pre-cats are 2-inch and mandrel bent to merge together into a 2.5-inch straight through pipe ending in a 2.5-inch flange. This pipe is for cali-spec non-turbo 3000GT vehicles containing only a 4 O2 sensors which are located just before and afte reach small pre-cat. Three gaskets are included. It is recommended that you also check and replace if necessary your motor mounts as bad mounts can lead to failure of the flex section in the downpipe.
