Using Speedhut's patent pending Smart-Shift Technology™, the new SST-MAX™ will maximize your shifting in every gear. By communicating directly with the vehicle's ECU, the SST-MAX™ knows the current gear of your vehicle and will indicate when to shift to the next gear at just the right time.

Works directly from the vehicles ECU using the CAN (J1979) protocol. All vehicles 2008 and newer are required to be compatible with the CAN (J1979) protocol. Works with 2008 and newer vehicles (Compatible with select older vehicles). No additional wiring needed, easiest shift light installation ever! Plugs directly into the vehicle's 16-pin OBDII Data Link Connector.
