The fabric is Haartz Stayfast cloth, which is a high quality topping with a plain black cotton inner lining and square weave exterior as opposed to the original twill weave. Stayfast is a made in the USA product used by Ford and Chevrolet as their premium material. The convertible top is made with a hand-rolled binding as the original Mercedes and includes vinyl piping around the rear windows also just like the original. The craftsmanship and careful detailing is evident throughout this convertible top.
