Socket and duel USB adapter kit k/usbd Ships from the USA, delivery in three days. This is a kit a Industrial quality female socket, a removable duel USB charger adapter rated at 2 amps at 5 volts. Enough power for all your iPhone 4G 4S iPod GPS application. The adapter can be removed and the socket used as a lighter style socket for other accessories. The socket is weather and UV resistant. When the USB is not plugged in, the extreme weather oversized cap fits tightly in the opening making the assembly waterproof. The contacts are nickel plated and the socket body is heavy nylon plastic. It requires an 1 1/8" hole for mounting and has .250 quick spade type male connectors. It can be mounted against a panel with the retaining nut on panels up to 1-1/4" thick. For a thicker panel use the included compression plate which keeps the socket in place from the front on a panel of any thickness. The socket is rated for 15 amps at 12 volts. Works with any standard cigarette lighter plug or USB Charger Adapter plug. Not for hot lighter use. Note the cap will not close over the socket when the USB adapter is plugged in.
