Dual function fused plug. Can be used for the smaller socket called either a BMW, Hella, Powerlet or German socket type. Or can be used in a standard 12 Volt lighter style. #BPL This listing is for one (1) dual function plug. The plug is weather and vibration resistant. All contact material of the plug is nickel plated brass or copper. Not all look-alike plugs have this higher quality contact material or are fused. The plug is vibration resistant because it has heavy dual spring contact prongs and two opposing sprung plastic glides, so the plug stays the standard socket opening when inserted. The wire contacts are screw type but can also be soldered. The plug has a built in 5 Amp fuse glass mini fuse but the plug is rated for 15 amp at 12 volts. The plug is 3 inches long and weighs 0.6 oz. The red adapter cap twists on and off to allow the plug to adapt between the standard 12 volt socket and the smaller German style socket.
