New lighter socket for hot pop out lighter plug use or for accessory plugs. Panel mount two ways. #20T Assembled and shipped from the USA. This socket can be used for both lighting cigarette or for accessories such as GPS, 12 volt chargers or iPods. Works with all lighter plugs and all 12 volt style accessory plugs. (The lighter plugs shown is not included in this listing). This listing is for twenty(20) lighter socket with a heavy nylon UV resistant body and a nickel plated core, opening lid and two female crimp terminals. A vinyl opening cap inserts into the socket core and snaps over the rim to produce a waterproof seal. The socket works with all pop out style lighter plugs or with standard accessory plugs. The terminals on the socket are male 0.250 or 6mm style crimp terminals. Two prongs internal to the socket core make the socket to plug connection vibration proof. It is rated a 15 amps at 12 volts. Patent pending by 12vtechnology. The socket requires a 1-1/8" hole for panel mounting. Handelbar and rignt anglke mounts are also available, see out other listings. Two way to mount this socket in a panel: for panels 1-1/2" thick or less the socket fits in the hole and the backing nut tightens the socket to the panel. For thick panels, the compression plate supplied, fits over the front of the socket and hold the socket against the panel with two screws ( not supplied). Quantity discounts available upon request.
