The Bronze Bullet Smooth Wall Valve Guide-Liner is made of spring tempered Phosphor Bronze which is an anti-seizing, anti-wear, high strength to weight ratio ; It is more dense than cast iron, has a higher rate of Thermal Conductivity, a low Coefficient of Friction, and insures high lubrication retention. These are just a few of the advantageous physical properties which translate into better guide life. The Guide-Liner's unique bullet nose design makes installation quick and easy. This special feature eliminates the need to chamfer the guide boss. Plus, through K-Line's exacting manufacturing process, consistent thickness is maintained, ensuring an even I.D. finish throughout.
