Get serious power out of your LS Series, Vortec Tahoe Suburban Sierra Silverado and Avalanche (Please See Vehicle Fitment Below). Shorty headers make for an easy way to add horsepower and give your vehicle some extra grunt as well as save you the headaches involved with installing long-tubes. Our shorty headers are fabricated with seamless chrome-moly tubing and feature 1-5/8 primaries that are bent to optimize high end horsepower as well as provide low end torque. No annoying exhaust leaks here! Our flanges are laser cut from thick 3/8" steel to ensure a proper seal that is impervious to heat, which causes inferior header flanges to warp. All gaskets, hardware AND an EGR block-off plate (pictured) will be included with every purchase. For vehicles without AIR injection. INCLUDES: Shorty Headers with Gaskets, EGR block-off plate and ALL Hardware FITMENT: Direct Bolt in for: 4.8L/5.3L/6.0L (With standard flat exhaust flanges) 1999-2006 GMC Sierra/Chevy Silverado 2002-2006 Chevy Avalanche 2000-2006 GMC Yukon XL 1500/Chevy Suburban 2001-2006 GMC Yukon 2000-2006 Chevy Tahoe GM made exhaust systems with two different types of exhaust flanges on the on the collector side of the passenger side header. There is no consistency to any of this that pertains to trim level, motor or transmission type so the only way to make sure what kind of exhaust flange you have is to look underneath the vehicle (or have a mechanic do it). No matter what manufacturer of headers you go with or what any listing says, you will have to do this in order to make sure that you will have a proper fitment. Look under the vehicle on the passenger side where the exhaust meets the exhaust manifold. If the flanges are just about touching, you have standard "flat" flanges and these headers will bolt right up (most vehicles have this). If there is a "large" gap, you have a ball and socket style flange with a donut gasket and these headers will NOT bolt up directly.
