The aFe stage-2 cold air intake produces up to 36 horse power and up to 63 pounds x 1 feet torque while outflowing the factory intake by up to 33 percentage. This intake is a highly engineered powder coated heat-shielded air box with a two piece intake tube. Handling filtration duties is the Pro 5R performance air filter that features 5 layers of progressively finer mesh cotton gauze media. The Pro 5R filter is constructed with 100 percentage polyurethane for long life and multiple cleaning cycles. The heat insulating, molded plastic intake tube and unique silicone turbo adaptor is engineered for improved volumetric efficiency and maximum performance while lowering Intake Air Temperatures (I.A.T). Utilizing factory mounting points, this system provides a hassle free installation. One piece powder coated heat-shield: A one piece powder coated heat-shield is used to keep the air intake charge cool and dense. This heat-shield features two built-in grille side fresh air scoops and two rows of louvers that bring in additional outside air for a cooler, denser air intake charge. Injection molded 3 angle adaptor: The 3 angle adaptor is used to speed up the air flow after the air filter for improved performance and throttle response. Huge 5-1/2 inches 360 degree air filter: A huge inverted cone 360 degree round air filter is used for maximum flow and performance filtration (98.6 percentage efficient). The patented Pro 5R performance air filter features 5 layers of progressively finer mesh cotton gauze media and is constructed with 100 percentage polyurethane for long life and multiple cleaning cycles. Rotomolded tube: Constant 5 inches tube that connect to the turbo inlet with silicone adaptor and clamp. Hassle-free installation: aFe has developed this intake to provide a hassle-free installation that utilizes all factory mounting locations. Legal in California only for racing vehicles which may never be used upon a highway.
