Windshield height is a personal preference, but one recognized standard is to be able to look just over the top of your windshield to see the road at a distance of 50 feet in front of you. The windshield should be between the tip of your nose and the tip of your lips in a normal riding position when sitting on the bike. Make sure you can look over the top of the windshield and still see the road. After a while of riding the bike you will begin to slouch, to help decide which size you need, add or subtract inches necessary to have the top of the windshield be level with the tip of your nose or the tip of your lips.
