This wool polyester blend bonnet is used for metal polishing and aggressive paint compounding and correction. Aluminum, stainless steel, chrome, and other polished metals are first polished with this cutting wool pad before refining the polishing process with foams and cloth pad covers. The White Cutting Wool bonnets fitted to the Cyclo machine enable paint correction on par with that of high-speed rotary polishers without their attendant risk of burning or discoloring the finish. Only Genuine Cyclo pads have been designed to work precisely with Cyclo Toolmakers' polishers. The white wool 71-455 pad is the most aggressive of the wool pads offered by Cyclo Toolmakers and more aggressive than the foams. Each wool pad is 4 inches in diameter and made from a durable wool blend with strong bonding of fibers - does not require spurring. The wool pad is permanently mounted on a rubber bonnet for affixing to machine heads. They are durable, long lasting and provide top performance. Recommended chemicals for painted surfaces are Cyclo Toolmakers 84-192 CTI heavy compounding gel, 84-176 CTI light compounding liquid, and 84-196. Recommended chemicals for metal surfaces are Cyclo Toolmakers 84-392 CTI free flite cleaner-Polish. Cleans up best with 84-404 CTI pad care - pad cleaner.
