The Evolve 4R Rotary Backing Plate with Hyper Flex Technology with Deep Cell Foam is an adaptable backing plate that adjusts where you need it. This backing plate is specifically designed to adjust, collapse and conform to variable surfaces for easy transitioning from flat to contoured surfaces. This backing plate utilizes an adaptive backing plate that molds, bends and adapts to variable surfaces with great ease delivering perfect results every time. Evolve Hyper Flex Backing Plates are very durable, designed with professional, factories and OEM use in mind. Chemical Guys had to design a backing plate that would resist the harshest of use and abuse. The low profile turtle shell of the Evolve Backing Plates helps protect surfaces when working close to vents, hood scoops, spoilers and fenders, where traditional backing plates are found to run and grind away at the paint.
