While the aggressive nib backing found on both all-weather and carpeted floor mats helps keep the mat in place, since the driver side floor mat is used the most often it's more likely to shift around more often. The Toyota floor mat hook aids the stay-put nib backing in keeping the floor mat from slipping and leaving your interior carpeting vulnerable to spills and stains. Since the driver's side gets the brunt of the abuse, sometimes the floor mat hook can get lost or broken. With this replacement floor mat clip, you can rest assured it will work with most Camry floor mats and work as well as the original floor mat retention hook.
