JLT Ram Air Intake for the 97-03 F-150 and Expedition At JLT we decided to break from the norm with this Ram Air Intake for the 4.6L and 5.4L trucks. Until now all cold air intakes were the same old boring 90 degree bend and a filter behind the driver's side headlight. Not anymore! With this totally new intake from JLT you get something different and something better. We shorted the distance the air needs to travel and put a HUGE, in your face, S&B life time re-usable filter, shall we say, Corvette LT1 style in front of the throttle body. Don't be like all the rest; try this beast out for a ride! Testing showed an 8-12 RWHP and 10-14 RWTQ through out the dyno run. Our test truck also showed a 1.5 MPG increase in everyday driving!! Improved with new silicone reducers and couplers instead of rubber hump hoses and a new powder coated aluminum tube with welded PCV fittings This kit includes all needed hardware, clamps, rubber coupler, JLT pipe, MAF adaptor, wire harness extension kit and S&B air filter.
