If original LCD is cracked or contacts are corroded you will need new LCD for pixels to work again. This LCD is coming with silver ribbon cable attached. You will need bonding machine or soldering iron with T-Tip for installation. Experience is highly preferred for the installation job. No installation instructions are provided with the item. Every LCD is coming in anti-static bag. Item will fit Saab 9-3 9-5 SID1 and SID2 units.
