The cranking power stems from a Hitachi motor with gear ratio of 4:40:1 (most other are 3:73:1), and are 40% lighter than OEM starters. This ultra light starter is proven to last longer with less stress to the electrical system. Clearance is never an issue for headers, oil pan, nor even the ground with this super compact form factor.
