The Auto Tuner automatically adjusts for riding conditions and personal riding style! Are you tired of having to make fine tune adjustments to your fuel manager every time the weather changes or you ride at a different elevation? Then the Auto Tuner is for you! The Auto Tuner uses your factory O2 sensors to automatically adjust for changes in your riding style or riding conditions. As most of you know, anytime you change exhaust on a fuel injected bike a tune or remap is required to ensure that the bike will maintain fuel economy, performance, and most of all engine safety. If these changes are not made you run the risk of having the bike run too lean or too rich which can potentially can cause engine issues. The TAB Performance Auto Tuner constantly adjusts the air/fuel mixture settings so that when you change the pipes, air filter, or riding conditions you maintain an optimum air/fuel ratio across your entire rpm range. The motive behind the development of the TAB Auto Tuner was to have a plug-and-play unit that could be installed at home in less than one hour. With the majority of fuel managers on the market you are required to take the bike to a dealership and have the unit installed and programmed or tuned. In most cases a Dyno machine is used to program the unit by creating map tables to accommodate the pipes and Hi-Flo air filter. Usually this takes an additional 2 hours which means extra $$$. We wanted a complete exhaust package that is a do-it-yourself installation where you don't have to spend extra money on tuning and installation. Within 2 hours you can have your pipes, air filter, and fuel manager installed and be ready to ride. The unit was designed specifically for TAB Pipes however it can be used with any manufacturer's pipes.
