HD = Heavy Duty - The Rigid Industries D2 HD LED Light is one of the most rugged, versatile lighting products on the market today. This 4 LED light can be used for virtually any heavy duty lighting application, such as mining, agriculture, construction, etc. At only 34.5 watts, the D2 HD produces 3,030 raw lumens of light. Its compact size and shape allow the D2 HD LED Light to fit almost anywhere. Yellow Bezel - This particular HD model features a Caterpillar Yellow front bezel. Amber LED's - This model features amber LED's. Amber lighting is often used to improve visibility in harsh elements. The glare from blue light is very difficult for the human eye to process. The idea behind amber lighting is that, by removing blue from the light spectrum, we reduce the perceived glare from snow, rain, fog, and dust which results in better visibility. Specter Optics - Our patented Specter optics system features 50% more LED's than our Hybrid optics in the same footprint and is specifically designed to cover more area. By incorporating a reflector with no facets or orange peel, the Specter optics system produces an intense, smooth beam with minimal wasted light. Diffusion Lens - Perfect for scene or area lighting, our diffusion lens was specifically engineered to project light at a 60º flood pattern. Combine that with our patented optics and you have the best LED flood light in the industry. Like our standard lens, the diffusion lens is made from optically clear, unbreakable polycarbonate plastic. Quality Construction - Our circuitry is designed in-house to be more powerful, be more efficient, and generate less heat. Our durable aluminum housings feature custom, over-sized heat sinks which keep the temperature down and allow our LED's to run cooler and brighter. All Rigid Industries LED lights receive a high quality powder coat finish, a custom-molded rubber seal, and an unbreakable, scratch resistant lens.
