These new shock extensions are designed to be use with factory shocks on '99-12 GM 1500 trucks with 3" rear lift blocks.
Rear shock extensions are not required for every application using a rear lift block and factory shocks. However, if the vehicle owner uses the truck in any off road environment which results in excessive rear suspension cycling, the stock rear shock may not be long enough and "top-out". Rather
