Dura Kote is one of the easiest, longest lasting sealants available on the planet. With being in the auto detailing industry for almost 20 years, and owning a mobile auto detailing business for nearly 10 years, I became frustrated with using waxes and sealants that simply were hard to use. I came out with Dura Kote which is a polymer sealant that actually creates a chemical bond onto your paints surface to prolong the protection. Unlike a wax, a polymer sealant lasts alot longer, but typically is very hard to work with. Dura Kote goes on and wipes off with EASE EVEN IN THE HOT SUN. I have used Dura Kote in 90 degree temperatures in the direct sun light on black vehicles without any issues. Final touch (spray wax) is not needed to aid in removal. Once you try Dura Kote you will be hooked. This is one of our most favorite products to use on any vehicle, especially darker colors. Just take a look at the shine! Little to NO PRESSURE is required to remove this sealant. What does this mean? After polishing a car, waxing a car or just sealing a car, if the product sticky to strongly to the paint and is difficult to remove, your left with a hazy uneven finish and possibly worse, SWIRL MARKS! This is from taking the microfiber towel and rubbing to hard to remove the product. DURA KOTE WILL NOT BE DIFFICULT TO REMOVE. YOU CAN LITERALLY REMOVE DURA KOTE WITH USING A MICROFIBER TOWEL AND A COUPLE FINGERS ON THE RAG. THIS IS THE ABSOLUTLY THE EASIEST SEALANT I HAVE EVER USED TO. On the dark grey SUV i used the following. Fierce Pink Wax and topped with the Dura Kote. On the tires I used Magic Blue.
