Why Polish and Wax with a Machine?

Over time, your car’s paint acquires fine scratches, swirl marks, oxidation, and other imperfections. Polishing with the Griot’s Garage 6” Random Orbital removes very thin layers of material (just microns), to reduce or eliminate these imperfections. Waxing with the 6” Orbital seals and protects paint. The machine operates under low speed, low heat conditions, so there is no fear of “burning” through paint or removing too much material. It lays down thin, even coats of product for fast work and easy removal.

Easy to Operate

For years, professionals and do-it-yourselfers alike have used and loved Griot’s Garage random orbital machines. This latest-generation 6” Random Orbital combines the power, torque, and reliability of the previous model with ergonomic improvements that make it a joy for anyone to use.

A six-position adjustable handle now features a rubberized grip. A rubberized palm grip and finger notch on the head of the orbital, plus molded finger grips on its body ensure complete, non-slip control. The power switch is easy to access (even with one hand), as is the six-setting speed control dial.

The Griot’s Garage 6” Random Orbital features a hook-and-loop backing plate, for easy mounting of a variety of pads. It is available with a 10-foot or optional 25-foot power cord.
