Introduced in late 2012, the Neotec marked Shoei's introduction into the premium modular helmet market utilizing an internal sun shield. This design was a completely new undertaking for Shoei but their 50+ years of helmet building experience forced this helmet to the top of the podium. One of the quietest helmets in the Shoei line-up, the Neotec utilizes numerous noise eliminating technologies. The underside of the helmet incorporates thicker foam to reduce bike and road noise. The use of a Vortex Generator which is a small raised area on the edges of the chin bar force air out and around the helmet which also eliminate noise. Shoei's use of the QSV-1 Internal Sun-Shield offers high-end optical clarity for an improved riding experience. Meets and exceeds DOT-218 helmet certifications.
