Schumacher's sealed factory AGM battery has a maintenance-free design that eliminates the need to maintain water levels. Less internal resistance delivers higher CCA with more heat and vibration resistance than conventional type batteries. The absence of air exposure decreases sulfation, so it can sit for extended periods of time without constant monitoring. A wet battery discharges at 25 degrees Celsius at a rate of 15 percent per month, while Schumacher AGM power sport batteries only discharge at a rate of 2 to 3 percent per month. This battery is factory activated and sealed, and has AGM separator.
