The rubber seal on the side of the air box lines up to the stock location to help keep air on a more direct path into your intake.
A plug is provided for the secondary opening, simply remove your filter and push the plug in from inside the air box.
We tuned the inside of the tube to match the stock mass air flow sensor readings to help you avoid check engine lights.
A new breather tube is included with the kit.
We designed a unique filter for this intake kit to allow you to maximize surface area.

The design quite literally replaces everything on the stock intake while making dramatic changes that contribute to increased airflow and of course our reputable fit and finish.Our intake kit for the 2009-2012 Chevy/GMC truck and SUVs seals the deal when it comes to feeding obscene amounts of air into your air box. The rubber seal on the side of the box lines up to the stock location pulling air from the wheel well and allows you to keep more air on a direct path into your intake. That combined with the second opening on the bottom of the air box provides you with more cool air then you know what to do with. We also tuned the inside of the tube to match the stock mass air flow sensor readings to help you avoid check engine lights. Matching the mass air flow sensor readings also helps to maintain a proper air-fuel ratio and fuel efficiency.
