100% New Aftermarket Starter Fits Ford RANGER 2.3L(140) L4 2001-2009 Mazda B SERIES PICKUPS 2.3L 2001-2009 --- This is a Ford PMGR Starter for the 2001-On Ford Ranger With the 2.3L Engine (and Similar from Mazda). This is a Pad Mount, But Does Not Have the Large 22-Tooth Gear, as Other Ford Starters Do, But, Rather, an 11-Tooth Gear Similar in Size to Other 10 to 12-Tooth Ford PMGR Starter Drives. In the Front of the Mounting Pad on the Drive End Housing is a "Tab" That is Designed to Mate With a Notch in the Transaxle. This is to Provide More Support to the Starter. The 1L5T-AA and 6L5T-AA Look Identical to Each Other - Both Use the Same DE Frame #. Although the Later 6674 Appears Somewhat Similar in Appearance, It Has Been Mentioned By Some in the Field That the Two Units Will Not Interchange
