Communicate with everyone you're riding with, while you're riding. The MotoComm RoadWire Full-Face Street Helmet Headset kit connects to a handheld two-way radio's headset accessory jack and provides the street rider with a simple, dependable way to communicate. A RoadWire kit is a must have safety and convenience accessory for every rider in every riding situation; from simply letting each other know where to go, to event ride communications, to an entire riding club communicating with each other, MotoComm makes it possible. The FF8 is for use with full-face street helmets. For open face and flip up style helmets please see the MotoComm RoadWire OF8 kit. The FF8 kit includes: a helmet headset with left and right speakers and a fixed position microphone; a handlebar mount push-to-talk switch; a two-way radio adapter cable; a junction cable; and a universal coiled extension cable for use with either the helmet headset or two-way radio adapter lines. The FF8 helmet headset is an easy 5 to 10 minute do-it-yourself installation and does not require any modification to your helmet. The speakers and microphone attach inside the helmet with provided hook and loop fasteners and are covered in foam and fabric for comfort even in tight helmets. The FF8 waterproof push-to-talk switch straps quickly to any type of street bike handlebar and allows the rider to remotely control their two-way radio without taking their hands off the grips and their eyes of the road. The FF8 connects to the following handheld two-way radios: Yaesu and Vertex Radios and more. For detailed compatibility information, download the MotoComm two-way radio compatibility list. The RoadWire series is the latest generation of MotoComm's original product introduced back in 2000.
