This is a one wire hookup Alternator with internal self exciting voltage regulator(No external Regulator required) simplifying your wiring. This is a Direct bolt-in replacement similar to the original unit you are replacing. Wiring is simple because of the self-exciting regulator that uses only a 1-wire hookup.You will need only your main charging wire connected to the battery.
