Important: (Type B) If you are unsure whether this product is compatible with your BMW E46 3 Series, just pop up the hood and compare this product with the stock headlamp socket.
Model: There is Type A and Type B for the BMW E46. Once again just pop up the hood check your stock headlamp socket to see if you need Type A or Type B

TGP E46 BMW Adaptors is required for all 1999-2006 BMW 3 Series models that being upgraded to HID lighting. If your vehicle did not come with factory HID bulbs, then you have H7 bulbs. These adaptors replace the factory adaptors and will lock the aftermarket H7 HID bulbs into place and secure them.
