This TSB & Diagnostic trouble code have been identified by General Motors as a water/moisture intrusion problem of the rear bank knock sensor on 4.8L, 5.3L, & 6.0L engines. This repair kit is designed to repair vehicles listed in the compatibility tab & that have been diagnosed with TSB #02-06-04-023A or DTC PO332. The repair procedure has been outlined by General Motors and requires removing the upper intake manifold, replacing the rear knock sensor, RTV'ing the area to prevent water intrusion, then re-installing new gaskets, & clearing any trouble codes.

We have a kit with the front knock sensor also, we recommend replacing both knock sensors at the same time since the intake manifold is being removed. Search 89060413-TSB2 for our kit with both knock sensors.
