SURE Intake Plenum TIG for MZR DISI: On the MZR, the stock metal gasket, found between the aluminum intake plenum and aluminum cylinder head, allows heat to transfer freely between the two components. Lets put a stop to this. With the SURE Motorsports direct replacement Thermal Insulating Gasket, we create a thermal barrier, reducing heat transfer to the intake plenum. The SURE TIG will provide your Mazda with lower boosted air temperatures, increasing power. The SURE TIG is designed to fit your specific Mazda application. Cad/Cam designed and produced to have larger ports than the stock gasket which ensures the TIG will not restrict air flow. The TIG fitment allows for porting options of your throttle body, cylinder head, and intake plenum. The precise fitment guarantees a perfect seal. Intake Plenum TIG: Our intake plenum TIG replaces the stock metal gasket found between the intake plenum and cylinder head on the 2.3L MZR DISI engine. A TIG spacer is included for the lower mounting location where the plenum bolts to the cylinder block. Material: The SURE TIG is virgin grade PTFE -400°F up to 500°F and is a reusable gasket. Hardware: For applications where TIGs are stacked, additional hardware may need to be acquired.
