SYNTH XL 5W40 is a synthetic "mid-saps" engine oil from the latest generation, especially developed for the lubrication of Euro 4 gasoline and diesel engines, that are equipped with exhaust gas after treatment devices, like diesel particulate filters (DPF). It is fully backwards compatible for engines of previous generations (Euro 1, 2 or 3). SYNTH XL 5W40 is a lubricant on synthetic base, especially designed to answer the highest VWspecifications (VW 505.01) for diesel engines. By using the latest technologies, this engine oil provides an excellent performance on the latest Tdi-engines with pump injector units and a high protection of the exhaust catalyst.
