JEGS Lava Mat™ Rugged Radiant Heat Shield outperforms most other adhesive type material by as much as 60%. Made from crushed volcanic rock with a woven pattern look. Held in place on a clean, oil free surface with high temp adhesive to withstand radiant heat of up to 1200degree F direct/continuous and 1800degree intermittent. Can also be held in place with screws, rivets or stainless wire ties for an extra measure of security when exposed to elements such as dirt, oil and water. Measures just .007" thick and is easily cut to size with a pair of scissors. Use on your hood, body panel, firewall, floor board, fuel cell or gas tank. Made in USA. 1/pkg.
