This screw-in thermometer reads temperatures directly from the intake manifold cylinder head transmission and so on. The 2-1/8" face displays 0-250°F; the probe extends 1" below the 3/8" NPT fitting. The gauge is liquid-filled to absorb vibrations that make it difficult to read results and to prevent damage from excessive "needle bounce."
