JEGS Heat Shield Mat reflects radiant heat away from body panels , hoods, floor pans and firewalls in order to protect the paint from blistering. Designed to reflect heat by placing the aluminized side toward the source. Held in place on a clean surface with high temp adhesive to withstand radiant heat to 1100degree F continuous and 450degree direct contact. Can also be held in place with screws, rivets or stainless wire ties for an extra measure of security when exposed to elements such as dirt, oil and water. Easily cut to size with a pair of scissors. Made in USA.
