This is a kit of one female socket with cap, connector rubber like vinyl boot, 42 in. fused wiring harness also known as a loom. The socket is marine grade and is weather resistant and made out of heavy glass filled plastic. The socket opening cap plus the connector boot/cover makes the socket waterproof. The contacts are nickel plated brass . The socket is vibration resistant, unlike less expensive versions. It has .250 quick male connectors. Rated at 150 watts (12 amps) , 15 amps peak at 12 volts. Works with any standard cigarette lighter plug or lockable marine plug. A locking plug locks into the socket with a quarter turn twist and can't be pulled out.
