Now with a built in Red LED power ON illumination, also includes a wire connector cover/boot. The straight vinyl wire boot to protect the wire terminal connections from water and weather. This makes the socket even more resistant to the environment for more reliable operation. When looking into the socket it will glow green ( Green, Blue and Yellow are also available) to indicate the availability of power. Tells that the the fuse is good and that the socket is active. This is a kit of a female illuminated socket assembly, two quick connect spade connectors and a black connector boot. The socket is marine grade and is weather resistant. The socket opening has a cap cover and the wire connectors are protected by a slip on vinyl boot. With cap and boot on the socket is water resistant. The contacts are nickel plated. There is a built in red LED. The socket is vibration resistant, unlike less expensive versions. It requires an 1 1/8" hole for mounting and has .250 quick male connectors. Rated at 150 watts at 12 volts DC. It can be mounted in two ways, against a panel with the retaining nut or for a thicker panel with the compression plate. Works with any standard cigarette lighter plug or lockable marine plug. A locking plug looks like a regular male lighter plug but when twisted in this socket can not be pulled out easily, unless twisted again. Not for hot lighter use.
