Controls bypass air around the throttle plate to increase or decrease idle RPM based on engine temperature, voltage and load. The IAC also prevents stalling due to engine load changes. Eletrical components are non-returnable parts. Always refer to a factory service manual when diagnosing engine service problems. You can damage electrical components if the proper procedures are not followed. Be sure you are replacing the correct part. Size: N/A
