This 12 volt CDI fits four stroke kick start pit bikes with engine sizes of 50cc, 90cc, 110cc , 120cc, 125cc and 140cc. Compatible with most Thumpstars, Xsports, Stomps, Ghosts, Demon X, Explorer's and many more makes. It will work with Kick start or electric start engines that require a battery charging function. Buyers will receive one complete CDI as pictured. Please check your old CDI prior to purchase to ensure you order the right type for your machine. The main things to check are location of the pins and the general appearance. The CDI controls the spark rate to the spark plug, and so can have a dramatic effect upon performance. If your machine is hard to start, missing a beat, not revving out fully, making a popping sound or, at worse, banging sound, you may need a new one. CDIs are also responsible for a complete loss of spark at the plug.
