Special silicone paper is used to covers ends to keep the tape from sticking to itself or any wrapping it is placed into. All the Eternabond tapes are gray in color under the release paper which must be removed to install. Double stick tape uses an aggressive sealing adhesive. This tape is sticky on both sides and is perfect for use as a gasket when installing windows, vents, etc. on RVs, mobile homes, and steel buildings. Once Double Stick is applied, you can virtually forget about leaks! In addition, Double Stick can be folded or rolled into a bead for areas that need a thicker gasket.
