The Stealth is LRS newest product for Batwing Fairings (FLH Series). Designed to make the smoothest and most stable ride possible, the Stealth allows wind to flow over the rider as well as to the sides of the bike. This windshield will change the way you see the road and your bike, with stealthy looks and uncompromising performance.
The Stealth was designed after years of testing with the LRS engineering staff closely adhering to the advice of thousands of Harley enthusiasts. Aerodynamic the Long Ride Shield Windshield are formed using a special heat forming method to preserve the optical clarity of the material. As part of the forming a Flip-up or Curve is formed at the top of the windshield which serves to deflect wind over the riders head.
This design has been tested and proven to maximize the amount of wind deflection while allowing for the least amount of drag. (Replacement Windshield Only) Sold Each. Mfg# D Choppers Cycle offers a wide range of windshield sizes and styles. Windshield height is a personal preference, but one recognized standard is to be able to look just over the top of your windshield to see the road at a distance of 50 feet in front of you. The windshield should be between the tip of your nose and tip of your lips in a normal riding position when sitting on the bike. Make sure you can look over the top of the windshield and still see the road. After a while of riding the bike you will begin to slouch, to help decide which size you need, add or subtract inches necessary to have the top of the windshield be level with the tip of your nose or tip of your lips.
