The surface mount steel attachment is zinc coated to inhibit corrosion.
The 1/2" diameter ring measures 3-1/4" wide x 3-1/2" long.
The "top cap" is 1/4" thick. It measures 1-1/2" wide x 3-1/2" long, with 1/2" holes on 1-1/2" center.

This tie down attachment has a 12,240 lb.* vertical pull weight rating. The steel attachment is zinc coated to inhibit corrosion. This tie down attachment is plenty strong and is able to receive multiple tiedown straps simultaneously. To obtain maximum strength it is recommended to install these d-rings with 3/8" carriage bolts, lock nuts, and fender washers (wide diameter). WORKING LOAD LIMIT: The maximum load weight a tie-down should be subjected to during normal use. To assist in making the proper tie-down choice the Federal D.O.T. requires the W.L.L. to be 1/3 of the Rated Capacity.
