The steel attachment is zinc coated to inhibit corrosion. Backing plate is galvenized.
The base measures 5" x 4-1/2". Hole pattern is 3" x 3-1/2" on centers.
Recessed dimension is 2-1/2" in diameter with a flat edge. The 7/16" diameter ring measures 1-3/4".
Backing Plate - 6" x 6" x 3/8" holes, thickness is 10 gauge (a little thinner than 1/8).

Set of TWO (2) D-Rings and TWO (2) Backing Plates: Purchased individually @ $10.45 each the cost would be $20.90 - therefore you SAVE $1.95. This tie down attachment has a 6,000 lb.* vertical pull weight rating. To install this attachment requires routing, or cutting a hole in the floor. This recessed d-ring has square holes punched for receiving carriage bolts, providing a smooth and relatively "trip free" surface. The steel attachment is zinc coated to inhibit corrosion. When in use the ring portion raises for application and lies down when not in use, thus creating a flush surface.This tie down attachment is plenty strong and is able to receive multiple tiedown straps simultaneously. To obtain maximum strength it is recommended to install these d-rings with bolts, lock nuts, and fender washers (wide diameter). For installation purposes it is easiest to cut a template and then transfer to the desired location. The BLACKING PLATE is used for support under the floor when installing the attachments, and prevents the bolts from pulling through. It is meant to be utilized with the 6,000 lb.* D-Ring Recessed WORKING LOAD LIMIT: The maximum load weight a tie-down should be subjected to during normal use. To assist in making the proper tie-down choice the Federal D.O.T. requires the W.L.L. to be 1/3 of the Rated Capacity.
