Designed by a racer and refined over a 3 year period by a team of Engineers and Bio-mechanical experts, then tested by some of the top professional riders in the world. Reliable protection available in a wide range of colors

The Atlas Brace is designed to simply slip on over head like a helmet. During regular use this system is a repeatable process that doesn’t require the use of any clips, fasteners, or parts that could deteriorate over time and cause the brace to fall off during use. The Atlas Brace also features a one of a kind Emergency Release system.

Other neck protection products tend to be rigid devices that are unable to move with the motion of the body. This rigidity causes a very un-natural and uncomfortable feel that can negatively affect the performance of the user. The Atlas Brace uses a unique 2 part frame design that only joins in the front, creating a flexible design that is able to move with the motion of the body. By allowing the frame of the brace to flex during use, the Atlas Brace provides a natural and comfortable experience, without feeling bulky or restrictive.

Flexible Suspension Chest Supports

Just like suspension on motorcycles and cars helps absorb bumps in the road and jumps on the track, the suspension built into the chest supports of the Atlas Brace are engineered to help absorb impacts. Concussions and Hyperflexion (head forward) injuries are a big issue with neck braces with rigid front sections, as they only allow the user to hit a defined wall with an abrupt stop, with the sternum and head receiving all the force. The Atlas Brace is all about thinking differently. By allowing the dual chest supports to rotate and flex like suspension they are able to automatically adjust and fit the chest angle of the user, and aim to help to absorb and slow down the impacts that pass through them without an abrupt stop. Although nothing is fully preventable, the suspension chest supports are a huge advancement in the evolution of neck protection.

Rotating Dual Chest Support Design

Since the Atlas Brace sits around the sternum, the likelihood of a sternum fracture can be reduced compared to other neck protection on the market. Many riders have suffered sternum fractures from braces with single chest plates, that is why we at Atlas designed our brace to be different. The Atlas Brace rotating dual chest support design is coupled with a chest suspension system and custom designed padding to further help absorb and distribute impacts on a greater surface area of the body, while aiming to help take the sternum out of the equation.

Just like the Atlas Brace sits around the sternum, it also sits around the spine for the same reasons. By utilizing dual pivoting back supports, the Atlas Brace increases the surface area that sits on the back so when a load is transferred it is spread out across the back, and around the spine. By allowing the back supports to pivot, the brace is able to fold for easy storage and transportation, instead of having to be disassembled.

Emergency Release System (ERS)

The Atlas Brace is the only brace to offer an Emergency Release System (ERS). The ERS logo is on the front of every brace for medical staff to see, and is a simple system designed to allow safe removal of the brace after an accident or crash that requires medical attention. The Atlas Brace is specifically designed with a 2 part frame connecting in the front to allow for the ERS to be performed in a few simple steps:

1. Remove the pin secured through the front axle nut.
2. Remove the front axle nut.
3. Pull the brace apart horizontally into 2 halves and remove.

Medical staff can easily access the neck for fitment of a medical neck brace, and safely remove the Atlas Brace to transfer an injured rider onto a stretcher.

Accessories Available

Additional parts are also sold separately if needed. If the brace is too tight to fit on over the head comfortably, you may wish to purchase the “Wide Body Kit” which is a spacer that adds width to the brace, making it a more comfortable fit for bigger individuals. Each brace comes with 2 different size offsets of rear mounts to adjust for chest size, but a total of 4 sizes are available. The smallest is -2, followed by 0, followed by +3, and the biggest offset available is +8. Each mount is stamped with sizing info for reference.
