Each part has been thoroughly developed and incorporates the latest in cutting edge technology that everyone from the top professional riders to your weekend warrior demands Moose pistons feature x-style forgings and fully boxed-style (Race Pistons) forgings for ultimate strength, minimizing friction, durability, power, and weight reduction Full radius dome designs maximize quench while eliminating hot spots that promote detonation Internal bracing maximizes durability while decreasing friction in the pin assembly Fully-boxed style (Race Pistons) forgings come standard with skirt coating which reduces friction, which in turn reduces heat. These are called out in the application chart The Race Piston Kits include a DLC (Diamond Like Coating) wrist pin. DLC technology has been proven and used because of its high resistance to abrasive wear, which extends the service life and reliability under extreme conditions Each Moose piston kit includes a high performance piston, wrist pin, rings, circlips, and a top end gasket kit Made in USA Some models require the use of race fuel, see notes below Important Notes: The following models require race fuel.
