A bad Glow plug relay is perhaps the single biggest and most common
problem on all the earlier Powerstroke engines. If you have a
Powerstroke that you crank and crank on cold mornings, or
starts and stalls then you may have a bad Glow Plug Relay. Its
not uncommon to replace one every few years.
