Protection against #1 cause of transmission failure. Performance-rated for cars, vans and light trucks up to 28,000 lbs. This cooler is rated at 18,000 GVW and measures 7.25"x11"x.75". These may be a little more expensive then some brands, but they by far, out cool any other cooler on the market, plus are made to OEM specs. This is a "low pressure drop" unit that is 15 times less restrictive then other brands. It also delivers 30% better cooling then other brands rated at the same GVW. This is a must for Heavy duty applications, from towing to racing, but is recommended for even daily driven vehicles. Heat is what kills an automatic transmission. If you want to extend the life of your transmission and avoid or prolong a costly rebuild, this is very cheap insurance. All parts are included to mount and plumb this cooler.
